JBSA-Lackland offers a variety of child and youth programs.

Child and Youth Programs provide affordable, high-quality age-appropriate recreational and learning programs that incorporate character building concepts through activities and social interaction for children ages 6 weeks to 18 years. Child and Youth Programs support the military which in turn enhances mission readiness.

Child Development Programs
Child Development and Family Child Care provide families with child care option for children as young as 6 weeks. The CDP offers hourly, part-time and full day care and the FCC offers more flexibility to include overnight care.

Youth Programs
YP provides provides families with youth programs for children ages 5-18. YP offers before and after school care, seasonal camps, extra curriculum activities, sports and more. Programs are planned to meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of each youth.
